<script type=text/javascript src= ads.js></script></div></p>The British Library has launched a new blog containing stories of peoples lives gleaned from the vast collections that make up the library. It is not only the rich and famous that you will find here, but those folk who have had fascinating and/or unusual lives, but which have largely been forgotten. You will find murderers and missionaries, Napoleon and Slaves and much, much more.

The British Newspaper Archive

The British Newspaper ArchiveLooks like we are not far away from the launch of The British Newspaper Archive website which is a joint venture between The British Library and Brightsolid who are the Findmypast & Scotland’s People parent company

The website is live, but there is no access to content, but that is due before the end of this year. Even though there aren’t any newspapers to read it is a good opportunity to play around with the website and read the information that is there.
