The complete Queen’s South Africa medal roll for the Coldstream Guards, Irish Guards, 1st battalion Royal Irish Fusiliers and Rundles Scouts

The Wepener clasp rolls for Royal Scots, Royal Engineers, Cape Mounted Rifles, Driscoll’s Scouts and the Kaffrarian Rifles

I’m told that this collections comes from 470 sources so it is wonderful that they are all in one place and available at the flick of a button.

I don’t know who Meurig Jones is, but she is the genealogy angel that has provided FindMyPast with these new additions. So 3 cheers for Meurig !!

Barbara Chambers, sister of Jill who is an expert on the Swing Riots, has been researching her family connection with soldiers who fought in these wars. This website is the fruit of her 18 years of experience in this area of research. Beautifully presented and easy to read. Go take a look.
