Public Photographic Collections now online

This looks a rather interesting new web site. The intro on the front page says ……

The key goals of The Commons on Flickr are to firstly show you hidden treasures in the world’s public photography archives, and secondly to show how your input and knowledge can help make these collections even richer.

Contributors include the Imperial War Museum, National Maritime Museum, Library of Congress plus some Australian Archives. Worth a browse.

About Linda Elliott

History, particularly Family History is my passion. I have worked in libraries & archives, I have taught family history as extra mural courses and have worked as a professional family history researcher. It seemed a shame to have all this knowledge & experience and not share it with others.
