I am trying to trace a a JOHN EDWARD BURTON born about1825/27 married Eliza PAINE, believed to arrive in Australia from England between 1844/45 When william was 2 or 3 years of age , in Sydney, thought to have settled in Armidale District NSW.
Now some conjecture that Braidwood or possibly Canberra.
Eliza is thought to have passed away relatively early possibly 1852. she had three children that we know of 2 daughters one being Kate, and a son William thought to be born around 1842 in Maidstone Kent England.
John Burton is thought to have own acerage raising imported beef cattle.
    Cheers Lynnette
