Highland Archives Centre

Highland Archives CentreThe new Highland Archive Centre in Inverness is now finished and has been handed over to the archivists so that they can undertake the task of transferring all the documents from the various repositories that have been caring for them up until now. The centre should be open to researchers in about 3 months time. Of importance to researchers is the fact that the Kirk records which up till now have been housed in Edinburgh are to now be housed at the centre. A fitting Homecoming in the year of Homecoming Scotland.

At the present time there does not seem to be a website link for the centre.
