If you would like to help the genealogy world then indexing is the way to go. In the past I have helped index, census, monumental inscriptions, wills and parish registers, all projects have given me a great sense of achievement. Of course I have also greatly benefited from other peoples indexing work, so why don’t you come and join in and start indexing.
The LDS are always keen to have volunteers for their indexing projects. You don’t need to be a Church member to become an indexer.
