If you haven’t visited the Deceased Online webpage then you should, it’s a great place for getting access to the records for those ancestors who were buried in cemeteries rather than churchyards. Cemeteries are either owned by private companies or by councils and their records can be held at the cemetery or in offices which can be quite a distance from the cemetery.
Deceased Online have partnered with cemetery owners and are putting the burial records online. There is a fee for looking at the original scan, but it isn’t huge and often much cheaper than locating the burial record yourself. Also some cemetery owners charge a search fee so you end up paying anyway!
The company now have a blog and a Facebook page so that everyone can keep up with what’s been added to their collection. Below are the links to their website, Facebook page and Blog.
