The National Archives have added early Irish maps taken from State Papers dating 1558 ā 1610 to their documents online collection. The accompanying State Papers can be downloaded free of charge.

Many of the street names in London have changed over the years, this site lists over 2,000 name changes. The site can be searched old name to new name or new name to old name. Very handy.

Anquet Maps Ltd offers historic maps of Great Britain that can be download for a minimum fee of ten pounds. It looks as if you can chose the area that you want to download so this might be more economic if your parish of interest falls on the edge of two or more maps. They offers 4 map series.
