British Library & Google deal

The British Library has announced that they have established a British Library & Google dealpartnership with Google to allow the digitizing and indexing of out of copyright material held by the library. The material that has been earmarked for this project dates from 1700 – 1870.

Wooo Hoooo!! This is fantastic news for genealogists as the British Library is a treasure trove of material for the family historian.
