Deceased Online has now added the last of the cemeteries to their Bolton Collection. The Horwich (Ridgmont) Cemetery is the last in the seven cemeteries to be placed online, the records date from 1928 and comprises grave registers, burial registers and cemetery maps giving grave location.
The Horwich Cemetery is situated in a rural area adjacent to Ridgmont Park halfway between Chorley and Bolton, opened in 1928 and has 11 WW2 graves. The cemetery is divided into three sections; Church of England, Romans Catholic and non-conformist. The 6,025 burials date from 1928 to August 2006.
